You wanna talk about an upgrade? I decided it was time for Jecht Marken to get an upgrade in design and god damn did he get one. =3= I DID NOT do this alone. I only colored it and made the sword, the outline of the character was done by because I couldn't come up with ideas for him. Now here is his information, yay~.

Background:
Jecht Marken was born in the kingdom of Hell to one of the region war-lords Goliath Marken and his mobian hedgehog wife, Penelope the Hedgehog. As a single child, he was to be the next great war-lord of Hell and to be Satan's personal right hand man. Yes it looked like Jecht's life was planned even before he could walk.

Fate has a strange way of changing things. Once Jecht started to learn how to fight and use his powers, he began to wonder what the mortal world was like. At age 19, he ran away to the mortal world, where he was taken into a group of three. Those three would become his bounty hunter buddies, Krystal Amanu, Kobo the Dragon & Dr. Delict Xero.

3 years later, he married the "love of his life" Krystal Amanu and had their first child, Maria Amanu. However...Krystal put a spell on Jecht to hypnotize him. Three more years later, Jecht exiled Maria to another dimension as a prison. After he fell out of the spell, he was shocked of what he had done. Krystal used her silver tongue to convince Jecht that Maria was going to become a killer. Soon after they had a child named Ram.

Three years after Ram was born, Jecht's life began to crumble. Krystal had cheated on him and became pregnant with V, who's father was Delict, his former best friend. Despite this, he allowed Krystal to have the baby. Few months later, V was brought into the world.

It was 7 years later when Krystal decided that it was best for Jecht and her to split up. After Krystal disappeared of the face of Victoria, the Brood suddenly attacked the planet. Jecht escaped to the planet Earth with his two sons. After getting situated, Jecht began to act strange. Way more violent. He began to abuse V.

7 years later, Jecht chopped off the hand of V on V's 10th birthday. The very same night, Jecht was murdered in his sleep by V who had replaced his opening in his right arm with a metal knife. After he died and returned to Hell, he learned that Krystal put a hex on him. His violence towards V was the Curse of Hate. The magic was so strong that Jecht could not control himself, he didn't even know he was there.

After this, Jecht was taken to Satan and appointed to "Demon Lord of Hell". He is now Satan's right hand man and top general. When that happened Jecht gained access to Satan's personal archives and discovered the truth about his fathers death. He learned that Goliath Marken had sided with Lord Ribcage many years ago after he ran away, due to his betrayal Satan executed Goliath. His mother Penelope was given the choice to stay in Hell or to be banished from it. She choose banishment for she feared Ribcage would come for her.

Learning such truth put Jecht in conflict. What was the reason Goliath betrayed his master to side with the traitor Ribcage? To get these answers he went to the Goddess of Creation herself, Anastasia. It was revealed that Goliath was promised by a mysterious figure named "Isaac the Dark Messenger" that he would take over Satan's spot once he was dealt with in time. That never happened, obviously. The time hasn't come yet but it will arrive soon enough. In exchange for this information, Jecht and Anastasia formed a secret covenant. Anastasia had a suspicion that Satan had a secret plan against her and the Age of Light... her suspicions tend to be right. Not only would Jecht serve as Satan's right hand man but he would also be a secret double agent for Anastasia, keeping an eye on Satan and whatever he does. Now Jecht is still watching Satan's moves carefully. Satan's work in Hell is beginning to die down, he isn't taking as much responsibility as he normally should. Jecht has picked up the slack and is even gaining favor over Satan. If this keeps going then Jecht might be the one to take Satan's place...

It turns out Satan was trying to prepare Hell to hand them over to the Dark Alliance but Jecht found out about his plan and put a stop to them. With Satan dead, Anastasia awarded Jecht's loyalty by making him the King of Hell and God of the Damned.
